Open Question: Can someone appraise my violin? And Tell me if its too much work or worth fixing?

The inside of my violin says: copy violin of Antonius Stradivarius faciebat Cremona 1713 made in Western Germany. It also has a number on the lower right side at the base of the violin right below the chin rest. The number is: 173-18-5545. Down the center of the violin underneith the strings is a small crack. The neck looks replaced, along with the plate. It needs a new varnish. Is it worth repairing or would I be better off buying a new one?... Read More »
